OBITUARY MRS MARGARET BERGIN The death, which occurred on Good Friday, in her 58th year, of Mrs Margaret Bergin, 1, Merchants' Road, Galway, will be much regretted. The late Mrs. Bergin had been in failing health for some time and the death of her son, Dr W. Bergin, M.O., Newport, Co. Mayo, some months ago, had a serious effect on her, and shortly afterwards she contracted the illness from which she never recovered, and which proved fatal on Good Friday. Requiem Mass was celebrated on Easter Sunday in the Pro-Cathedral, at which the Most Rev. Dr. O'Dea, Bishop of Galway, presided. The celebrant was the Very Rev. Father Davis, P.P.; deacon, Rev Dr. Sheedy, and sub-deacon, Rev. T. Burke. Very Rev. A.J. Considine, Adm., was master of ceremonies, and the Rev. Father Mitchell assisted at the Throne. The funeral took place afterwards to the New Cemetery, the attendance being large.
