James Cleary
James was one of four men named Cleary identified as resident in Illaun, Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare in the Griffith Valuation of 1855. see Clearys of Illaun, Miltown Malbay.
Nothing more is known of James except that his son Michael Cleary, born in approximately 1835, later married in Australia and lived most of his life in New Zealand.
