Some information about the Nashes was submitted to the International Genealogical Index by Stephen Bennetts of Bunbury, Western Australia, who is great grandson of William James Nash. Stephen's mother, the late Elizabeth (Betty) Bennetts of WA (the daughter of Ethel Celia Nash) also provided some of the above information.
Elizabeth (nee Nash) Cleary's grand-daughter, Sr Sylvia Cleary, recalls that her grandmother had some connections with two girls, surname Kelly, who worked in the Exchange Hotel at the corner of Pitt and Bridge Streets, Sydney. It has since been identified by Betty Bennetts, grand-daughter of Lizzie's brother Jack, that these Kelly girls were sisters of William James Nash's first wife, Mary Ann Kelly.
